Another great tender awarded to Satelec with the help of the Citylinx City Operations Platform! The Communauté Urbaine de Dunkerque has selected Citylinx to deploy a smart parking solution across more than 1,000 parking spaces in the city.

In many cities, up to 30% of traffic in dense areas comes from drivers searching for a parking spot. That means more congestion, more emissions, and a lot of frustration for something that should be simple. To solve this, what will we be putting in place in Dunkerque? A system designed to guide drivers directly to free parking with multiple parking detection technologies, real-time aggregation of occupancy data, computing of available spaces per zone and control over information panels to display available spaces for drivers.

The expected impact is straightforward: less unnecessary traffic, shorter search time for drivers, better use of existing parking capacity, and improved city center accessibility.
